The Treutlen County Board of Commissioners are looking for a candidate to be appointed to the Aging Advisory Board for the Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging. This Board meets Quarterly (4 times per year), usually on the 3rd Tuesday of every third month (January, April, July, October). The Advisory Board is available to share information about services in their communities as well as help develop area plans that are developed every 4 years and updated annually. If you have any questions or are interested in serving on this Board, please contact County Clerk Angie Hooks at 912-529-3664, 1830 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Soperton, GA 30457. A copy of the Advisory Bi-laws are also available at the Board of Commissioners Office.
The Treutlen County Georgia Commission’s Website is a source of information about the activities of the County’s Commission. This website is a doorway to a complete listing of the Minutes of County Commission meetings. Remember, monthly commission minute listings always lag behind actual meetings by one month, because the minutes from the previous month’s meetings have to be approved by the commission before they can become part of the permanent record. This website is designed for openness in county government. This website is the County Commission information resource for the citizens of Treutlen County Georgia.
